Almost any American has ever faced a problem when his new stove got broke, Internet was diconnected or his wife's old hairdryer stopped working at all. In these situations he called the service numbers of the companies who whether manufactured, sold or set up you the stuff that started working bad. But when calling the technical or informational support, he hears not a Southern accent, but a very different and exotic speech. Most likely that this nice lady that always gives you an answer and is always polite is from India. And not only her. All call center operators, managers and even the owner are Hindu. And it's not because there are so many of them in America that every time you call anywhere you hear their pretty accent. It's just that most of the call centers of the world are in India, cause they are cheaper there. But how does it actually happen that a person dialing a regular or toll-free American number actually calls to India? It's all because the call center manager, named for example Adarsh Adel, bought a plenty of direct American phone numbers and forwarded them to all of the phones of his call center located in suburbs of Rajahmundry or anywhere else. So now, every American can dial an American number and pay for this call as local — when actually calling to India without even knowing that. The American companies that pay the Indian companies instead of paying American ones, save a lot of money on office rental, equipment purchase etc. Cause they can pay much less the Indian call centers and just buy direct phone numbers for them.
